Perusal pleasure

Today at work, I worked four hours on a project, went to lunch, came back and finished the project a little over an hour later, then wished I could just go home. But no, I still had nearly three hours left in the work day, so work I did.

The project I did was  excellently done, if I do say so myself. If I were a judge, I would be so impressed by my own pleadings that my boss would win every case. My pleadings could cause an ache of aesthetic pleasure for attorneys and judicial officers with eyes to see. Even opposing counsel probably wipes away a little tear of awe when perusing them.

In my humble opinion.
