Step into my parlor . . .

This spider looks like he's floating in mid-air. I could see his web--just barely--from some angles, but mostly it was invisible. That's how spiders catch insects. He's sitting right in the center of his web.

Sometimes on misty mornings you can see webs in detail because water is clinging to every strand, making the web look white.
