An old tree

This beautiful old tree stands in the middle of our cul-de-sac. I think it is a maple of some kind.


I just love the moss that grows on the north side. Why the north side? I think because the trunk leans somewhat south, so the north surface faces up.


The branches are budding out on this tree, too.
