Stellar beauty

I came out of work last night, and the crescent moon was on its back in the western sky with Venus, which has been exceptionally large and bright lately, very near to it. It was so beautiful I tried to take a picture of it with my cell phone camera.


Of course this conveys only a slight idea of how lovely it was, but you can at least see how bright and close the two heavenly bodies were.
