"Before"

These pictures are the "before" pictures for my deck for 2009. All my potted plants are pushed up against the house, so that possibly the relative shelter and the warmth reflected from the southern wall may allow some of them to live through the winter. We have had some severe weather this winter, so some are doubtless dead; some were annuals, so they won't come back; some will recover when the warmer weather comes.


The pond is full of rainwater and leaves.



These hanging baskets held fuchsias, begonias, and lobelia. I think I will have to replant this spring.
