Today's random thoughts

Today is my oldest brother's birthday. He would have been 60 years old. He died of ALS when he was 52. I miss him.



Today I am mildly ill. My head has a feeling just short of a headache and my stomach says, "Meh." From time to time I wonder if I have a fever.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. I live in Washington State, where the Seattle Seahawks are from. They just won the Super Bowl by an embarrassingly large point spread. Embarrassing for their opponents, the Denver Broncos, that is.

Today I saw the news that the actor Philip Seymour Hoffman is dead of an apparent drug overdose. That's sad. He was an exceptionally talented actor and only 46 years old. What a waste of his life and gifts.
