On the eleventh day of Christmas, I took down my tree.
Here it is in all its glory, the day we put it up and decorated it.
And here it is in its fallen state, stripped of ornament and dragged outside.
I flung it into in my dad's pickup and took it to the Christian High School parking lot, where the Boy Scouts were accepting them for recycling at Green Earth Technology.
The scouts would have picked it up curbside if I had had the tree out by 8:00 a.m., but I didn't make that deadline. I started to take down some decorations on New Year's, but I did most of it this morning between about 10:00 and noon. So it goes. Done is done.
