Well, I went to the Walk to Defeat ALS today.
It was at Squalicum Boathouse, Zuanich Park, in Bellingham -- a beautiful setting. It's been there for the past two or three years.
It was cloudy, breezy weather, quite pleasant, really. Some years it feels like summer at the walk, but today it felt like fall.

i think i have told you that i found your blog while looking at random blogs.
today i went to a church that is not mine where i am on vacation with my family and they were talking about a drive to send relief to towns very near mine. it was good for me to be there to tell them what is is like in the destroyed areas.
but i have also been spending a lot of time working on projects for our local ALS walk, which is next saturday.
there are a lot of walks for a lot of diseases, but ALS is remarkable in that there are no survivors of that campaign.
i know you know what i'm talking about.
so.
a frenzy of activity and color in order to give those people an hour or two of brightness and maybe later be able to deliver some care services.
be well and be blessed.
Thank you.
